Wellington Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society

Your purchase of an Entertainment Membership helps the Wellington Multiple Sclerosis Society support people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), their carers, families and whanau. The Society is a not-for-profit organisation, devoted to empowering people with MS to live their best lives through the work of its three MS Community Advisors who support people with MS through information, education and advocacy. 

MS is an autoimmune condition that affects the Central Nervous system – the brain, spinal cord and the optic nerve - and can impact a person in many ways including walking and mobility, energy and/or pain levels and their ability to work. MS is the most widespread disabling neurological condition of young adults around the world and 1 in 1400 people have been diagnosed with MS in NZ.  You can find more information about MS and how we support people here: www.mswellington.org.nz

The Wellington Multiple Sclerosis Society Inc, Registered Charity No: CC10482, is one of 18 regional societies throughout New Zealand supporting people with MS.   We must raise most of its funding through grant applications and donations, which has become even more challenging in the Covid environment.  Each Entertainment Membership purchased gives at least $14 to our Society.
